A mid-size Orlando law firm is looking for a proactive and organized professional to work as a Paralegal for Litigation attorneys. This is a full-time employee position and an exciting career opportunity with a team-oriented company.
The Paralegal will assist attorneys with various types of business litigation by preparing legal documents, meeting court and client deadlines, organizing and maintaining responsibility of files, etc.
3 years’ experience preferred.
We are looking for an individual with the following skills:
* Ability to draft and edit pleadings and discovery
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to take direction from multiple attorneys
* Ability to multi-task under pressure and work independently
* Ability to understand legal documents
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Adobe, and willing to learn additional specialized software programs
* Strong knowledge of e-filing and Federal filing
* Excellent grammar, organizational (electronic and paper) skills, accuracy and attention to detail in all written communications and documents
* Outgoing personality; adept at interacting with clients
* Proactive and extremely organized a must
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
